the inventory is a work in progress feature right now, but i now have finished the code template for it, so i can equip armours items and weps now etc.. obviously needs a nice GUI also

-Combat system template complete, (including damage types, defence types, accuracy, reaction),
-Combat stats system template complete,
-LevelCheck / Experiance complete, (to lvl 100)

-Map work,
-50+ new models added,

Next Tasks:
-Gui (improved inventory gui, stats gui, combat gui, options gui, main menu gui) - 2d graphics help from solbie
-Expand Combat system,
-Improve spawn system,
-Experiance assignment for enemy damage done,
-Mount system template,
-Player Die method,
-Currency system template,
-NPC System template,
-NPC Shop template,

all for now , next video will show these in a few days im working hardcore on this project now

any comments so far?
sergey, maybe you have development tasks i could use for reference?

I want

- Soft shadow
- Per pixel light terrain textures
- ROAM terrain geometry


* The stretching textures on slopes is not pleasant
* The doll of the character out-of-date - is necessary more slots of ammunition (glove, ring, amulet)

On rest while very well, design of the menu the artist then will draw.

dynamic shadows:

fps is 10-14, but im using a laptop, and have 22 windows open, also this si with shadows at very high settings

also, i have per pixel light capability, i started calculating lights and after 15mins i decided to cancel it as it was only 20% done with calculations .. ill wait until map is complete before doing that

hi, yes, i didnt get that far though, originally solbie was supose to be helping me with gui, but i have not heard from him in a few weeks, so i decided to work on some gui myself, i could really use some help iwth creating gui though as i dont like my designs much.

if anyone is good with photoshop and can help me then please leave a message for me

because I only created the one texture, next version will show more of indent of person and not specific person.

and i have no further news other than new meshes and armours are created, right now im in austria skiing for 4 weeks then im back in england for 2weeks over christmas, so i havnt done much work on the project, sorry!

Good News!! 3 days ago i started integration of networking!

Completed:
player locations,
visible 'force' modes to all clients,
chat,
server database set and read,
client login, gets information from server database,
create user, add info to server database and logs in,
all client entities synchronized with server (NPCs, Monsters, Map, Static Objects)

it is going ALOT faster than i thought it would! i hope i can show a preview soon

to complete in the next few days (relatively easy but lengthy tasks):
Attacking,
Taking Items,
Sync inventory with server database,
Equiping Items(material and mesh updates visible on all clients),
A test skill(probably mining).

    most of the character models ive downloaded, but alot of the animations and textures for the models i made myself or rigged myself and used bip animations, all weapon models i made and textured myself, all armour meshes i made and textured myself.

    textures for surfaces like grass, rock, stones, sand etc i downloaded.. bottom bar gui was drawn by R.Spring(fluffmcduff) he is a very talented artist! its just he has alot of work with university and things now that its all hes been able to help me with.

    i keep realising more and more things to do

    ive finished character appearance storing to database and loading on login and creating character and it is visible for all clients now (it was more complex than im making it sound), but this took alot of time to get working correctly(6 hours)i had problems because when a new client connects i have to tell all other clients that he is connected and to set his appearance on the clients and he has to get all of there apearances on his client aswell as load his own appearance, but now its realised many similar things will now be very easy
