Better to balance damage, cause if you are running from anyone easy to shot you if u have less resistance, ofc shield is bigger and easier should be to protect, but we need to get golden middle to make everyone happy.
With shield its hard to jump and roll over runing from the gun shots, with pole its much easier

I'll try to post how do I understand pole working in real life
Pole is long its not a spear , and has both sides to hit, so its twice better than sword, you might hit by every move you do, dont look at awplanet movements, its poor, but try to imagine how it works in real life

After this video you should realise that pole in defense works good as it hits. So I think resistance is ok, but I agree that should be removed 3% damage from every pole.

King Of Arena (Test) 10:00 Game Time
Ok, I see no one likes to discuss, so I will make it on saturday morning. If there will not come a lot people, so for future tournaments we will not make this fight.
If this fight will be succeed we will make it official in Spring 2012 tournament.
Say to your friends, about this fight.

- Placed gc shops in client corner (Opens only in neutral zone).
- Balanced weapons again.
- Changed fatigue word visual.

I cannot say that there will be anything what would say that you are winner of arena fight, cause it will be not official for now. Well I can add winner to awplanet.org website.
After first time of King of Arena fights, I'll see how many people came, how many interested it. If it will be good part of tournament arena fight, I would try to make it official and to lend some money for winner. But for now it would be only test.
As I said in my earlier topic of 3x3 it is removed from tournaments, so I could place King of Arena in 3x3 place. So feel free to discuss here to say your opinions.

There was people who asking to make for fun fight:
Who comes doesnt matter you are recruit, or emperor, to teleport everyone there in same time and everyone would fight till end, last man standing in arena would be The winner of "King Of Arena", but we cannot give a prize for the winner, so lets make a poll and comment to do this or not.
I repeat, prizes will not be given

- Edited weapons balance
- Added Phaser to 200kw battery(Available to reload gun.).
- Every 2 intelligence gives +1 force.
- Added class E crossbow.

I would like to offer some plus thing that admin wouldnt have minuses in this idea, to give +1 force after +1 intu it would be ok, but if only then that using of force energy in the fight would be same time interval as it is, but in training to make it 2x faster. Cause you need force in fighting mostly at the moment. So admin wouldnt loose any money if he will give 2x force and will make at training 2x faster using force.
If admin will give 2x force and leave same timing at training, so people will not buy pots that often and bla bla bla...

I dont really know how aw works, with database, but i think if admin will make 1intu +1force energy so admin would need to change every personage manual, it means lots of work. I dont know really, just guessing

If character is shared, admins refuse to help for these personages.
So dont share if you want to get any help when you will need it

About urods.
If there will be that NPC manager, so if these "urods" will need to disturb dm's they will put their money as a stakes and they will take arena for all day long, if noone dies manager will not allow other DMs, if we will make tournament, so people will be able to disturb tournaments. Too many work about dm's. You can ask for "GM" to tp you in tournament arena, if GM isnt available so you can wait for him.
